Executive Director

Our Executive Director Rebecca Helps came to us here at the Green Party because she believes in our policies on reforming government. Rebecca believes that we need to change how government operates to effectively address problems such as climate change, peak oil, debt, and economic recessions. Her goal over the next three years is to help the Green Party get Members of the Legislative Assembly elected.

Since coming to the Green Party of BC, Rebecca has freed time for the volunteers on our provincial council to focus on their respective positions and duties. She has taken a firm lead in strengthening our office management systems and has implemented up-to-date computerized membership and staff systems.  Her understanding of business analysis, operations, marketing and accounting helped to define the party’s future and operational processes.  Rebecca was appointed to the position on April 1, 2010 and we hope to retain her services in the coming years.

Rebecca goals for the Green Party of BC include being effective at reaching voters in BC, to do this she supports an increase to our monthly operating budget to cover essential staff and resources; creating a strong, province-wide organization.
