Research and Policy Development

If you are keen to participate in the review, improvement or writing of Green Party of BC policy, please e-mail policy@greenparty.bc.ca and provide a short introduction to your policy interests and describe your skills and qualifications.

Researchers are also needed.

Research Teams are needed to:

• document BC's demographics and trends for their impacts on our policies development
• document BC's present provincial budget/accounts for guidance in assigning costs to our policies
• assign costs  and identify revenue using triple bottom line accounting methods
• assess the policies of other Green Parties and like-minded organizations to find ready-made policy and to identify best practices

We prefer volunteers for GPBC policy and research teams to be party members in recognition of the decisive, vital, and significant nature of this work. You can be a member for as low as $10 per year although we encourage people to become monthly donors as well. However, we recognize that some people cannot or do not want to join a political party but may have sound policy they want to contribute to the Green Party of BC. People can also be non member donors to the Party. We welcome good policy ideas so please contact us if you want to contribute.
