You'll have the satisfaction of helping the Green Party, and seeing your forward thinking policies adopted in BC. Our mission is to ensure Green Party candidates are electable and elected in 2013. As a volunteer you can help us achieve that success!... Volunteer Now
Policy Volunteers
Our Committee is looking for one or two volunteers interested in combing through Green Party of BC policy documents (electronic versions on the Google Site 'Policy') from 1998 through 2010 to list and categorize the policies into these five categories:
- Building a Strong Economy
- Caring for One Another
- Protecting Our Resources
- Reforming Government
- Arts & Culture
The list would also note the source document for each policy and its location.
Ideally, this project would be completed by the end of November 2010.
Proficiency with MS-Excel or similar spreadsheet software is preferred for collecting and presenting the project results.
The results of this project will enable the Policy Teams, in an organized way, commencing in December 2010, to embark on team projects to identify:
- outdated policies
- policies outside provincial government jurisdiction
- policies not aligned with the Ten Green Principles
- related policies which need to be made consistent with each other
- etc.
