Strathcona Park
In 2009, the government approved changes to the Strathcona Park Master Plan on Vancouver Island that allow the granting of a park use permit to a private operator to run commercial horse trips as a commercial operation in Strathcona Park. This decision was widely opposed by the people of Vancouver Island. The Green Party of BC's Letter to Minister Penner is attached.
