Membership in the Green Party of British Columbia:

We welcome you to join the Green Party of BC!

Membership is open to residents of British Columbia, aged 14 years and older, who are NOT members of any other provincial political party.

Membership is by donation. We suggest a minimum donation of $10 toward the cost of per-member expenses for the year. For $40 you can extend your membership for four years, or sign up as a monthly Evergreen donor. Thank you everyone who contributes financially, volunteers their time, writes a blog and post comments, and votes for a GREEN FUTURE IN BC.

All political contributions, including your membership fee, are eligible for an income tax credit of 75% on the first $100 donated to a provincial political party each year. There are provincial tax incentives on larger amounts too.

If you pay provincial income tax, your $100 donation will cost you $25 after you receive your income tax refund. Your $50 donation costs only $12.50. Receipts are issued on amounts of $10 or more.

To ensure that your Green Party membership is always current and to help reduce administrative overhead, please consider a monthly contribution of $5 or more through our Evergreen donor program (bank debit by void cheque preferred or credit card). Non-members are also encouraged to become Evergreen donors, and we welcome your support of our work.

You can become a lifetime member by donating $1,150 in a single calendar year, either as a single donation or as 12 monthly donations of $96 (cost $650 after income tax credit).
