“We had a very productive AGM in Penticton with great speakers, dynamic discussions and a good measure of fun focused on local food and sampling some of the outstanding Naramata Bench wines” said Green Party of BC Leader Jane Sterk. “We confirmed our mission to ensure Green Party candidates are electable and elected in 2013 and to form an integral part of the Legislature by 2017.
“Our 2010 Provincial Council has a nice balance of continuing and new members. This Council has scientists, entrepreneurs, teachers, consultants, writers, communications specialists, activists, trades people, accountants and counsellors. It is a diverse group with a wealth of experience.
“We have adopted a Strategic Plan that will help us achieve our mission and that will help direct activities and allow us to measure our progress. We know we have our work cut out for us and this
