Candidate Highlights:
  • Transcend Partisanship
  • Focus on the Economy, People and the Environment

Robin lives in the riding of Westside-Kelowna where he owns a small green business. He majored in political science and philosophy at McMaster University, where he wrote his research paper about the state of government funding for renewable energy technologies. The findings of this research were instrumental in shaping his interest in a green-collar career in the sustainable building industry and following university he moved to the Okanagan valley to start his company, GeoSave Solutions.

The company promotes sustainable energy technologies that both preserve the environment and present a substantial financial return to the purchaser. It is this mindset of a balance between economy and environment that drew Robin to the Green Party and its policies.

Robin’s political activities began with federal Green Party candidate Huguette Allen in the Okanagan-Shuswap riding. Elected to the board of directors for the riding association, he performed the role of events organizer, followed by becoming fundraising chair in the recent federal election. The riding enjoyed monumental results compared with the previous election as the Green vote tripled, which represents one of the largest percentage increases in party voting patterns nationwide.

Robin strongly supports the best practice approach to government taken by the Green Party and above all, his interest lies in the promotion of policies which transcend the political spectrum in order to mutually benefit the economy, people, and the environment.
