  • We must be the voice for the whole earth and its people

Hi friends! My name means to me - “Of All”! “AB” means “OF”, and “ALL” speaks for itself.

I want to tell you of a vision that I have for my people. You know who you are. We must be the voice for this whole earth and its people. I hope you see this as the beginning of our journey and not the end. We have a duty to this earth and to all inhabitants of it. I love this province, and this whole country Canada.

I was born in Vancouver in October of 1962, to a French Catholic family. My parents moved to Vancouver after their marriage in St. Laurent, Manitoba. My father was a millwright for the forest industry almost all my young life; we even lived in Thasis on Vancouver Island in the 1960s--there were no roads then!

I grew up in the sixties and seventies with lots of relatives and friends who smoked a lot. I was always sick - the doctors called it allergies.

This lifelong infection has compelled me to seek out and study natural alternative treatments to combat this illness. I believe in proactive health and medicine. I have come to realize that the pot I smoked was actually better for me than everything else in my life. The true crime is the prohibition of cannabis and its medicine. I don’t condone smoking, as vaporizing is better for your health, but if you choose to smoke be respectful and clean up after yourself.

My love for cars developed from the time I was 14, when I bought my first car--a 1957 Chevy. I have worked on cars since my first job at the local gas station, Clayton Service. My boss signed me up as an apprentice when I was 17, and by 1984 I was the youngest licensed automotive mechanic in BC and became an Air Care Technician in the 80s.

I have a deep understanding of how the environment is affected by the automotive industry. I have worked my whole career as a mechanic and I am presently working for Canadian Tire in Langley.

I got married in the 90’s and my wife and I bought our home in Langley. We have two awesome sons, who are my pride and joy. My wife and I are now separated, but I still live in Langley city and claim it as my own; there’s pride in ownership!

I now would like to give back to the community in the only way that I think will make the biggest difference. I know my views are more outside the box than most peoples', but I still think that they are as well thought out as any other opinions. I don’t have all the answers, but with some time and research I will make balanced and informed decisions.

Thank you for the opportunity to be part of this process. I think that as an active and persistent group we can make a real difference in the lives of the people we love.
