Trevor graduated from Kwantlen Park and attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University where he studied a variety of subjects, around his philosophy programme.

Trevor joined the Kwantlen Student Association in 2006 following allegations of corruption within the society, successfully winning election and launching a statement of claim to return the stolen money to students. Trevor is a former volunteer with the Surrey SPCA, working with and rescuing small animals. Trevor has a decade of service within Scouts Canada and is a recipient of the Governor General's Chief Scout's Award for his community service.

Trevor enjoys swimming, hiking, reading and writing, studying philosophy, spending time with family, friends and his Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier, Dexter.
