Volunteer

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a passion for our environment and our society here in British Columbia! No matter what your skill level, age or political background, we value your support and need your help to build a better BC! Read through some of the activities listed below and send your contact information to Heather Nicholds at office@greenparty.bc.ca. She can get you involved with other Green Party members and supporters in your area. If you have an idea on a way to contribute that is not listed, please let us know that too - we welcome creativity and innovation!

Help our Leader: Help provide direct support to Green Party leader, Jane Sterk, in one of several roles. She is looking for people with skills as an executive assistant, in policy research/analysis, social media strategy, and event coordination.

Letters to the Editor: Join our letter-writing campaign – get updates on issues that you can write about in a letter to the Editor of your local paper or an online publication.

Help with Events: Lead or assist in planning and organizing volunteers for events in your local area. This may be a Green Party table at a large event, or a specific Green Party event.

Foot or Phone Canvass: Talk with residents to find out who would vote for the Green Party and why.

Office Work: Phone members to update contact information or inform them of events, update database entries, stuff & stamp envelopes, make buttons, etc.

Policy Writing: Research issues relevant to Provincial Government jurisdiction and strengthen Green Party policies.

Computer and IT: Website and database support, utilization of internet and social media, etc.
